การจำแนกชนิดของเนื้อเยื่อเกี่ยวพัน (Classification of the connective tissue)

แบ่งออกเป็น 3 ชนิด 1. Embryonic connective tissue 1.1 Mesenchymal connective tissue (ภาพที่ 2) 1.2 Mucous connective tissue (ภาพที่ 3)

2. Adult connective tissue 2.1 Connective tissue proper 2.1.1 Loose (areolar) connective tissue (ภาพที่ 4 , ภาพที่ 5) 2.1.2 Reticular tissue (ภาพที่ 6) พบให้เป็นโครงร่างโดยประสานกันเป็นตาข่ายอยู่ในอวัยวะต่อมน้ำเหลือง ต่อมไร้ท่อ และตับ เมื่อย้อมด้วยเกลือเงิน Reticular fibers (Reticulin, Rf) ติดสีดำ มีลักษณะคล้ายรากฝอยของต้นไม้ ส่วน reticular cells นั้น มีขนาดเล็ก ไม่เห็นในภาพ Reticulin ปัจจุบันจัดเป็นพวกคอลาเจนชนิดหนึ่งที่ไม่มีลายตามขวาง คือ อยู่ใน collagen type III ในการย้อม H&E Reticulin ย้อมไม่ติดสี แต่มีคุณสมบัติดูดซับ metallic silver ได้ดี ในภาพ reticulin เป็นโครงร่างของต่อมน้ำเหลือง ให้เป็นที่เกาะของ lymphoid cells (เห็นนิวเคลียสติดสีน้ำเงินม่วงจางๆ)

2.1.3 Adipose tissue (ภาพที่ 7A, ภาพที่ 7B, ภาพที่ 7C) 2.1.4 Dense connective tissue 2.1.4.1 regularly arrange (ภาพที่ 8A , ภาพที่ 8B) 2.1.4.2 irregularly arrange (ภาพที่ 9)

3. Specialized connective tissue 3.1 Cartilagenous and osseous connective tissue (บทที่ 6) 3.2 Haemopoietic tissue (บทที่ 5)
