Inhibitor การจับของ I กับ E จะทำให้ affinity ของ E ต่อ
S ลดลง ตัวอย่างเช่น Fluoride ยับยั้ง Enolase

Inhibitor การจับของ I กับ E ไม่มีผลต่อ affinity ของ
E ต่อ S ตัวอย่างเช่น L-phenylalanine จะยับยั้ง placental
