Nonrotation (malrotation). Upper GI study demonstrated that the duodenojejunal (DJ) junction was on the right to the vertebral column.

Malrotation with Ladd's band obstruction. The abdominal plain X-ray shows air shadow in the distended stomach and very little small intestinal air, characteristic picture of partial upper gut obstruction

An upper gastrointestinal barium study demonstrates dilated stomach and obstruction at second part duodenum. The "birds peak" appearance is characteristic finding in Ladd's band obstruction, an extrinsic compression commonly associated with malrotation

An upper GI study shows dilated stomach and duodenum with a picture of obstruction by extrinsic cause at the second part-Ladd's peritoneal band compression is the final diagnosis
