Follicular Cystitis

Lymphoid follicles with germinal centers are seen ofen in the lamina propria, less commonly throughout the bladder wall [89]. The tumor-like nature of follicular cystitis is due largely to the presence of small white or pink nodules, often on an erythematous mucosal surface, when viewed cystoscopically. Microscopically, the adjacent epithelium may or may not exhibit reactive atypia.
