Enterobiasis

     Within the lumen of an appendix, gravid female with eggs is seen ( Fig.1 ). 

      Enterobius worm has a characteristic lateral alar (arrow). Higher magnification ( Fig.2) shows the cutis ( red arrow), underlying muscle bundles ( blue arrow) and Its eggs.

     Scattered eggs ( Fig.3, Fig.4) are also noted freely in the appendiceal lumen.
