Histiocyte
เป็นคำรวมๆ ที่ใช้เรียก mononuclear, phagocytes และ antigen presenting cells
อื่นๆ เช่น dendritic cell, interdigitating reticulum cell และ langerhan's
cell ที่ผิวหนัง ตัวอย่างโรคมะเร็งของ Histiocytes ได้แก่
 Langehan's
cell Histiocytosis (LCH) หรือ Histiocytosis X เป็นโรคมะเร็ง ของ antigen-presenting
cells ที่พบได้บ่อยที่สุด
Malignant
Histiocytosis (MH) เป็นโรคที่พบได้ยาก พบได้ทั้งในเด็กและผู้ใหญ่ จะพบเซลล์มะเร็งที่มีลักษณะรูปร่างของ
phagocyte และมี histiocyte antigen (CD68, CD11c, CD14) สะสมอยู่ที่ต่อมน้ำเหลือง
โรคสามารถกระจายไปยังระบบ reticuloendothelial, ผิวหนัง, กระดูก และระบบทางเดินอาหารได้ |
