Acute pancreatitis : Microscopic low power displays interstitial fat necrosis along with infiltration
of acute inflammatory polymorphonuclear leukocytes. Interstitial fat necrosis are characterized by amorphous
pale pink morphology of the necrotic interstitial fat tissue interspersed with numerous tiny basophilic leukocytes.
