Lung, small cell carcinoma (oat cell carcinoma) Oat cell carcinoma, lung, left upper lobe : An ill-defined round mass at the left upper lobe of lung with extension to pleural surface. The neoplastic tumor mass is pale pink to grey white, lobulated and soft. There are multiple tiny yellowish pinpoint lesions (tumor necrosis) throughout the tumor mass.
