Appendix, Carcinoid

Carcinoid appendix : Microscopic medium power of appendix displays a few small tubuloglandular structures infiltrating in the muscular propria of appendiceal wall. It is usually an incidental finding occurring in association with appendicitis and has no clinical symptoms associated with carcinoid syndrome.
