Gallbladder Chronic cholecystitis Microscopy, low power, shows wall of gallbladder exhibiting chronic inflammatory leukocytic infltrates in the muscular propria and minimal amounts of the infiltrate and fibrous tissue in mucosa. Two Rokitansky Aschoff sinuses are also recognised in the muscular layer.
