Tuberculous arthritis
- Confluent granuloma with central caseous necrosis
- Pannus over the articular cartilage with erosion into bone along the joint margin
- Fibrous ankylosis and obliteration of the joint space 
- Hip and knee involvement in childern, but the vertebral column is common in adult
- Bony destruction of the vertebral column with wedging and complete collapse of vertebrae called Pott's disease of spine
- Psoas abscess.
