The Center for Advanced Pathology (CAP) provides secondary consultation to pathologists in the Armed Forces, as well as pathologists in the public and private sector around the world. Each complete consultation is added to the world’s largest repository, leading to priceless educational and research opportunities.

CAP is comprised of 27 departments, organized into 6 groups. The 6 groups are administered by the Director of CAP, and 16 staff members. The 6 groups are: Musculoskeletal and Reproductive,   Heart, Lung, And Aero Digestive Diseases ,   Special Laboratory Medicine ,   Environmental Medicine ,   Legal Medicine And Forensic Sciences ,   Specialized Services.
