Fellowship education will combine the expertise of scholarly medical instruction
with the diversity of a zoological collection. Programs will be located
at zoos associated with academic veterinary institutions with strong existing
educational programs in the medicine of multiple taxa. Pathologists from
these institutions with expertise in the diseases of zoo and wildlife species
and certified by the American College of Veterinary Pathologists will participate
in the program.
