Title: Online Urologic Pathology: Bladder

Audience: Urology and pathology residents; practicing urologists and pathologists.
Objective(s): This course is primarily for UROLOGISTS preparing for their BOARD EXAMINATION. For practicing urologists and pathologists, the course presents modern concepts of urologic pathology, including the recently revised WHO classifications of kidney, bladder, prostate, and testis. The self-check quizzes and final exam within the course also provide practicing urologists and pathologists ample opportunity for practice and self-assessment.
Description: The course follows the format used by the recently revised International Histological Classification of Urinary Bladder Tumors. On each content page, the participant sees a text description of the light microscopic recognition of specific disease processes, and where appropriate, additional comments about necessary special stains and immunohistochemistry. Following the text, the participant sees several images with captions that illustrate the important features discussed. With a single click on an image, the participant can see a full-size version of an image with its caption. For many images they may also choose to see additional instructional highlights that help them to see the features discussed. The course also contains a Final Exam and several Self-check exercises distributed throughout that will allow the participant to check their knowledge of the content.
